Unfortunately, Maria has had to withdraw from the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart, Germany which begins on Monday.
Maria had this to say about her withdrawal: "I am very disappointed to be unable to play the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart because my right shoulder has not yet healed. I am doing everything I can to get back into competitive playing shape and hopefully on Tour in the run-up to the Sony Ericsson Championships, but at this point I remain day to day. The Porsche Tennis Grand Prix is
such an amazing event, and I'm hopeful to play there next year."
